Meredith Karbowsky

Meredith currently serves as the Associate Director of Capital Markets for Breakwater Strategy, joining in April 2024. She has previously worked at Capstone where she joined the Private Markets team as an Analyst in 2021. She functioned as a generalist, advising clients on a range of topics such as educational technology funding streams, cryptocurrency tax policy, and organic waste bans. She has completed more than 30 due diligence projects, mostly for private equity clients but also several corporate engagements.

Prior to joining Capstone, Meredith interned with a financial startup and a nonprofit. While completing college, she also worked on several research projects, including a global sharing-economy analysis for the World Bank, and was a founding member of ECMG, serving as a managing director and the COO.

Meredith received her B.S. in business, with concentrations in finance and public policy analysis, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington. She is originally from Cincinnati and currently resides in Arlington, VA.
